Is there a pool?
Yes, we have an outdoor pool open during the summer season.
Is WiFi free?
Yes, free WiFi is included with every room.
Is parking free?
Yes, free on-site parking is included with every room.
Are beach badges included?
Yes. Beach passes for registered guests are included with your stay.
When is the pool open?
The outdoor pool runs through the summer season, weather permitting. Hours are posted at the pool and the office.
Is there daily housekeeping?
We refresh towels and pick up trash every day. If you need anything else mid-stay, stop by the office.
What comes in every room?
Air conditioning, a mini fridge, a coffee maker, cable TV, and free WiFi. Every room, no exceptions.
Do you have cribs or rollaway beds?
Call the office at (732) 899-1282 before you arrive and we'll tell you what we can set up in your room.
Are any rooms step-free or accessible?
Call us with your needs and we'll put you in the room that works. We'd rather get it right than guess.
Is there coffee or breakfast?
There are good breakfast spots within a short walk of the property. Ask at the office for the current favorites.
Is there a coffee maker in the room?
Yes, every room has one. Rooms 201-216 and 125-130 have single-serve K-cup brewers, and the rest have a drip coffee maker. Have a preference? Let us know when you book and we'll do our best to match you.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
How do I make a reservation?
Call us at (732) 899-1282 or use the reservation form on our website. Calling is the fastest way to book.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
During peak season and holiday weekends there may be minimum stay requirements. Call us for details.
Can I check in early or check out late?
Sometimes, depending on how the day's turnover looks. Email us or call the office at (732) 899-1282 and we'll let you know what's possible for your dates.
Do you charge a resort fee?
No. There are no resort fees at The Windswept. Parking, beach access, WiFi, and the pool are all part of the rate.
What is your cancellation policy?
It depends on the season and rate. You'll see the exact terms for your dates when you book online, or call us and we'll walk you through it.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards for online bookings. Call the office if you need to arrange something else.
Can I book multiple rooms for a group?
Yes. You can book as many rooms as you need together online, all in one reservation. No phone call required.
How does the Beach Plum Apartment work?
It books by the week with a seven-night minimum. Multiple bedrooms, a full kitchen, and the beach right outside.
What happens after I book online?
You'll get a confirmation email with your room and dates right away. Check-in starts at 1:00 PM on arrival day.

How far is Jenkinson's Boardwalk?
About a five-minute walk from the motel.
Is the motel right on the beach?
Yes. Walk out the front door and you're on the sand.
Can I get here by train?
Yes. Point Pleasant Beach has an NJ Transit station on the North Jersey Coast Line. From the station it's about a five-minute drive to the beachfront, so plan on a quick rideshare or taxi for the last stretch.
Are restaurants within walking distance?
Yes. Boardwalk food is five minutes away, and there are restaurants and ice cream along Ocean Avenue and downtown.
What is there to do besides the beach?
Jenkinson's has rides, arcades, mini golf, and the aquarium. Downtown has shops and restaurants, and the inlet has fishing charters.
What about a rainy day?
Jenkinson's Aquarium and the arcades are a five-minute walk and make for a great rainy-day plan. Downtown shops and restaurants are close by too.
Is Point Pleasant Beach a party town?
It's a family beach town at heart, with a lively boardwalk in season. Summer nights near the boardwalk can get busy and loud, while the residential streets stay calmer after dark.
Can I bring more than one car?
Each room comes with one parking spot, and that's a firm limit. We aren't able to fit extra vehicles, so please plan on one car per room.
Where on the property is my room?
Rooms are spread across four buildings: Beach Plum along New York Avenue, Bayberry and Ocean Dunes on the upper side, and Seascape by the dunes, with the pool and Sundeck out back. Here is the lay of the land:

Policies
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not permitted at the Windswept Motel.
Are rates subject to tax?
Yes, all rates are per night and subject to NJ state and local taxes.
Is smoking allowed?
All rooms are non-smoking.
Are there quiet hours?
Yes. We keep things quiet overnight so families can sleep. If a neighbor forgets, call the office or send us a message in your guest app and we'll take care of it.
Can visitors use the pool or beach passes?
The pool and beach passes are for registered guests only. We aren't able to host outside visitors, so they're reserved for the folks staying with us.
What if bad weather hits during my stay?
We can't do anything about the weather, much as we'd like to. A rainy or stormy stretch doesn't change your dates or our cancellation policy, so the usual terms for your booking still apply. If a big storm is on the way, call the office and we'll help however we can.
Is there an age requirement to book?
Yes. All registered guests must be 21 or older. No exceptions.
